New Family Advocate Program Helps People Meet Their Personal Goals

WHCA’s new Family Advocate Program is designed to provide support for people in Washington County who need help tackling an issue and finding the resources that may be available to them.

The Family Advocate Program is dedicated to joining with families and individuals in an effort to provide support and assist in finding resources as they work toward family, personal, and occupational goals. 

Possible goals include… Employment, Finances, Healthcare, Daily Living Skills, Education, Transportation, Mental Health, Substance Use, Parenting…

Whether it be housing, finding a job, changing careers, finding reliable transportation, childcare, any kind of life issue their Family Advocate will work with you to get the right supports and systems in place. The Family Advocate can come to your home to work with you or you can meet at the WHCA offices or another location convenient to you.
